ART
For the entire month of May please choose one activity from the Art Challenge Board to complete every week. Remember if you’ve already completed one of the challenges you must choose a new challenge the following week! This year we have studied many fascinating artists including Claude Monet, Eric Carle, Andy Warhol, Faith Ringgold, Pablo Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein, and Henri Matisse. For your last Art Assignment of the year I want you to build a BINGO board with your favorite works of art from these artists. Your BINGO board should include 16 pieces (4 rows, 4 columns). Try to include at least one work from each artist. Please submit your BINGO boards to Seesaw before our class meeting time so that I may approve it. I have posted an example for you to see, but please do NOT use my BINGO Board. I want to see your favorite works of art from the artists we have studied. On Thursday, May 28, at 11am we will have our last Zoom Meeting. PRINT OUT your BINGO Boards and bring them to our last Zoom Meeting. We will talk about your favorite artists from the year and we will play BINGO with their works of art. I cannot wait to see you then!

ART
For the entire month of May please choose one activity from the Art Challenge Board to complete every week. Remember if you’ve already completed one of the challenges you must choose a new challenge the following week! This week we will continue to learn about Heri Matisse. I will be seeing you in my zoom classroom this week to read a story about our artist of the month. On Seesaw you will be completing a Matisse painting match. You will be dragging and dropping the name of a Matisse painting to match the actual painting. Do your research as you complete this assignment to make sure you are getting the name of the Matisse paintings correct. When you are done, print out NINE Matisse paintings. You can use the ones from our assignment or you can find new ones, but MAKE SURE you know the names of the paintings. We will be playing a BINGO game during our Zoom Meeting with your Matisse paintings. On Thursday, May 21, at 11am we will have a Zoom meeting to discuss our new artist. We will be having an open discussion about Henri Matisse and I will read a new story about our artist. ART

Remember if you’ve already completed one of the challenges you must choose a new challenge the following week! This week we will continue to learn about Herni Matisse. I will be seeing you in my zoom classroom this week to read a story about our artist of the month. You may also complete this fun drawing, cutting, and gluing activity to create a masterpiece (or “moosterpiece”) like Henri Matisse. On the page below is a “roll-the-dice” game. Roll a die for each coloumn to decide what your masterpiece will look like. Draw the shape you rolled onto a piece of colored paper. Cut it out. Glue it down to a plain white or black sheet of paper. Continue to do this until all of the coloumns have been completed. I can’t wait to see your final products! (include the roll-a-dice game from above) Here is an example of what your masterpiece may look like: On Thursday, May 14, at 11am we will have a Zoom meeting to discuss our new artist. We will be having an open discussion about Henri Matisse. If you have questions bring them! If your masterpiece is completed by then, I would love to see it and talk about it. You may submit your masterpieces via Seesaw! ART Zoom ID: 842-948-5678 Password: Art1122 For the entire month of May please choose one activity from the Art Challenge Board to complete every week.
